Purpose and Scope: †Asian Workshop on Sensing and Visualization of City-Human Interaction (AWSVCI 2009) will be held in Peking University, Beijing, China, August 27, 2009. We invite researchers, practitioners, educators and students, and others interested in City-Human Interaction. This workshop aims to present the state-of-the-art research contributions that address the various aspects of Sensing and Visualization of City-Human Interaction. We also aim to promote the understanding among players, and stimulate interaction between participants through them. AWSVCI 2009 focuses on the emerging area of City-Human Interactions. This emergence is an outcome of the rapid evolution in smart appliances and devices, as well as tremendous advances in wireless sensor networks and ubiquitous computing.
