*Purpose and Scope： [#cb20b748]
International Conference on Human Probes and Smartphone Sensing 
(ICHPSS 2011) will be held at Chiang Mai University, Thailand, during
December 15-17, 2011. We invite researchers, practitioners, educators and
students, and others interested in Human Probes and Smartphone Sensing .
This workshop aims to present the state-of-the-art research contributions
that address the various aspects of Sensing and Visualization of 
Human Probes and Smartphone Sensing. 
We also aim to promote the understanding among players, and stimulate 
interaction between participants through them. ICHPSS 2011 focuses on 
the emerging area of Environmental Sensing using SmartPhone, Mobile 
Sensing, and Information Analysis from Micro-blogs. This emergence is an 
outcome of the rapid evolution in SmartPhone sensing, Human Probing 
technologies as well as tremendous advances in wireless sensor networks 
and ubiquitous computing.
Areas of interest include, but not limited to:

- Sensor Networks with Mobility
- Augmented Reality on Smart Phones
- Sightseeing Guidance using Smart Phones
- Enabling Technologies for City-Human Interaction
- Security and Privacy for Human Probes with GPS
- Social Implications of Human Probes and Visualization
- Location-dependent and Context-aware Computing
- Energy Harvesting technology for SmartPhone Apps
- Visualization Technology of Environmental Sensing for Mobile Users
- Micro-blogs and Geoinformation Analysis

All paper submissions will be handled electronically by the EasyChair 
conference system.  If you do not already have an account, you will need 
to create one.

Submitted papers must be 2-6 page-long two-column format and include 
an abstract of 100-150 words. All papers should be formatted according to 
the "IEEE Computer Society's Conference" format.
